Jonathan Hadas – Clarinet & Bass Clarinet

Jonathan Hadas is a clarinetist of rare versatility, known for his deep artistry and dynamic presence across classical, contemporary, and crossover music. As the principal bass clarinetist of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra since 2010, he has performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, collaborating with leading conductors and ensembles.

A graduate of the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv, the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and the Karlsruhe Hochschule für Musik, Jonathan’s career spans orchestral performance, solo appearances, and chamber music. 

He is a founding member of the acclaimed Meitar Ensemble and a dedicated interpreter of contemporary music. His artistic range extends to jazz, chanson, and world music as a member of Pinhas & Sons, Chorolé, and The Tomboys trio. 

Jonathan has performed at renowned festivals such as the Heimbach Festival, Parades Festival, and the Eilat Jazz Festival. He has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Omer Avital, Avishai Cohen, Sharon Kam, Christian Tetzlaff, and many more.

Beyond performance, Jonathan is a passionate educator, frequently giving masterclasses and mentoring young musicians.
